With specialist tabletop director Iain Campbell on our director roster, Groundglass is hugely experienced in this genre of commercial advertising. We have long standing relationships with outstanding food stylists and model makers, and our own team of sfx specialists. Our partnerships ensure we have access to excellent equipment and technicians and top-class studios with all the necessary facilities to ensure a one-stop solution to your food, liquid, slow-motion, time-lapse, macro, and live-action shoots; taking the process from idea to screen.

Music Promos

With three of our in-house directors already finely connected in the music world in South Africa, Groundglass have fast become the local pit stop for music promo shoots.
With in-house editing facilities, as well as a Canon 5D set-up including Glide-cam rig (the only one in the country), and with firm connections into all the gear and post facility houses for fabulous deals, we are well-equipped to take on music promos of any scope and any budget.
Our finely tuned repertoire of music promos to date includes artists and bands the likes of: Jack Parow, Aking, New Holland, Just Jinger, Dirty Skirts, Faryl Purkiss, Arno Carstens, Flat Stanley, Heuwels Fantasties among others.
In addition, we have serviced shoots for international music sensations such as Kasabian, Snow Patrol and Dido.

Our aim is to produce content that entertains, informs and inspires. To produce projects and thought-provoking stories that we hope will have an impact on the minds and views of people across the world.
From documentaries, to films long or short, that encompass reality, fantasy, fact or fiction.
