CICLOPE Festival is the only international event fully dedicated to the “craft” in moving image. In the last few years, it has become a platform for directors, creatives, artists, producers, digital creatives and clients to share knowledge, be inspired and celebrate the best work. Over the past five years Ciclope has grown to become a must-attend event for directors, producers and service providers who participate in the production of creative audio visual experiences for film and advertising. This year, our very own Creative/Executive Producer Janette De Villiers, is a guess at the festival and she will also part of the Diversity in Advertising panel. Ciclope has gathered a group of leaders that are already changing our industry for the better. Among other issues, they will discuss the lack of women in senior creative and management roles, the lack of opportunities for people from ethnic minorities and the benefits of a more diverse intake that can truly reflect the population our industry actually advertises to.
