In partnership with Ster kinekor’s Cinema Nouveu http://www.sterkinekor.com/#/home/ and Short and Sweet http://shortandsweet.tv/ster-kenikor-supports-local-short-film-talent/ The “Short Film Project” challenged both established and new filmmaker’s to produce and enter a short film of ten minutes or less. A panel of film and cinema industry judges then reviewed the entries to compile a list of 10 finalists that have made it onto the big screen. Groundglass is proud to announce our association with three short films that are finalists. “Birdman” directed by Rob Nicholls and produced by Groundglass, ”True-Jose” directed by Mandla Shonhiwa and produced by inc. and “ In Foreign Transit” directed by Dewald Brand. Each short film will be shown at the beginning of a selected number of Cinema Nouveau feature film releases. We congratulate all 10 finalists and we will keep you posted on the release dates in late May.
