As the production landscape has changed, we have evolved into more of a creative studio; a convergence of storytelling, content and visual craft that reflects the shifting ways brands communicate with their audience.

Founder / Executive Producer
With over 35 years of experience in the South African film industry, Janette is the force behind the company. Known for her bold leadership and creative intuition, she blends artistry with social responsibility, and champions diversity across the industry. Committed to her love of mentoring young filmmakers, Janette continues to fly the flag for emerging talent.

Producer
Trish brings vast experience and an unshakable passion for storytelling to Groundglass. Her career spans acclaimed South African features like Four Corners and Knuckle City, each defined by her meticulous eye and commitment to meaningful work. As previous Head of Production at Groundglass, she champions projects that inspire and challenge - blending creativity, consciousness, and purpose in every frame.

Ari keeps Groundglass productions running smoothly, from managing travel and logistics to coordinating crew and cast.
He loves the collaborative nature of filmmaking and being part of the process that brings ideas to life. A passionate storyteller at heart, Ari also writes and directs his own creative work.
